Templo Jionji - Buddhism Temple

International Parishes & Churches in Peru
The only Buddhism temple in the region of Lima is the Templo Jionji in Cañete, around 140km from Lima. This temple was opened in 1977. Its origins date back to the first Japanese immigrants in the beginning of the 20th century.
The International Christian School of Lima (ICS Lima) is located in the heart of Miraflores and has faithfully served several children of Peruvian diplomats and foreigners, officials of multilateral organizations, and employees of multinational companies for many years.
Tourists who stayed longer than the number of days they were given when they entered Peru must pay a fine when leaving the country. While this usually is a simple and straightforward process - at least if you know how it’s done - in some cases there might be the one or other hurdle to overcome.
After the resignation of Peruvian President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski (PPK), Martin Vizcarra, First Vice President and Peruvian Ambassador to Canada, was sworn in as new Peruvian President in March 2018 and was supposed to finish PPK’s term in July 2021.
