Legislative Decree No. 1582 (Modification of the Peruvian Foreigner Law, Nov 2023)

This Legislative Decree changes some articles of the Decreto Legislativo 1350, which regulates the entry and exit of Peruvian territory of nationals and foreigners, the permanence and residence of foreigners in the country and generally the migratory administrative procedures.

The Legislative Decree No.1582 was published on November 14, 2023, modifying the previous Foreigner Law, Decreto Legislativo 1350.

Be aware that the Foreigner Law only determines general rules and regulations, while corresponding Supreme Decrees, which are published regularly, can modify certain articles and paragraphs. Additionally, the TUPA, which is updated usually yearly, establishes the administrative regulations and procedures under the jurisdiction of Migraciones including their respective requirements and conditions.
