Artificial Intelligence Bootcamp

The University of Engineering and Technology (UTEC) in Lima put together a series of IT & new technology workshops under the theme “Technology Roadmap” for those interested in extending their knowledge in this ever more important area. One of those workshops is the Artificial Intelligence Bootcamp.

Instead of automating manual tasks (hardware-driven robotic automation), Artificial intelligence (AI) makes it possible for machines to learn from experience, adjust to new inputs and perform human-like tasks. Most AI examples that you hear about today – from chess-playing computers to self-driving cars – rely heavily on deep learning and natural language processing. Using these technologies, computers can be trained to accomplish specific tasks by processing large amounts of data and recognizing patterns in the data.

The Artificial Intelligence Bootcamp introduces participants to the AI world and help them understand the possibilities and value this technology can generate. At the end of the workshop participants will

• know numerous companies that successfully introduced AI into their day-to-day processes
• understand the transition process from General Intelligence to Superintelligence and from Narrow Intelligence to General Intelligence
• master the 10 foundations and 5 main phases of AI including their application
