Internet of Things Bootcamp

IT & Technology
Date: Saturday, 09 February 2019

The University of Engineering and Technology (UTEC) in Lima put together a series of IT & new technology workshops under the theme “Technology Roadmap” for those interested in extending their knowledge in this ever more important area. One of those workshops is the Internet of Things Bootcamp.

The Internet of Things (IoT) is an increasingly growing topic in everyday life, but as well at the work place. Already today - and in the future even more - countless devices, vehicles and home appliances connect, interact and exchange data via the internet.

The Internet of Things Bootcamp introduces participants to the IoT world and helps them understand the possibilities and value this technology can generate. At the end of the workshop participants will

  • know the current status and trends in technologies, digital platforms and standards
  • understand the strategic advantages of IoT for companies
  • be able to identify the value of collected data
  • be able to define impact scenarios and strategies in different economic sectors
  • be able to lead digital transformation processes based on IoT
