The Centro Comercial Camino Real marks the beginning of a Western style shopping mall culture in the country. Opened in December 1980 in the noble district of San Isidro with exquisite shops, restaurants, cinemas and even a skating rink Camino Real was for about 10 years the shopping center in town.
