Date: Sunday, 17 July 2022

Every year on the third Sunday of July Peruvians celebrate one of their beloved dishes: Pollo a la Brasa. Pollo a la Brasa, also known as Peruvian chicken or rotisserie chicken, is one of the most consumed dishes in the country.

As its special day coincides with the month long festivities for Fiestas Patrias and the National Pisco Day, often all three together are celebrated at gastronmic fairs held aross the country. Additionally, several pollerías (rotisserie chicken restaurants) everywhere in Peru offer special deals to attract customers.
