This regulation specifies the functions of Congress and the Permanent Commission, defines their organization and operation, establishes the rights and duties of Congressmen and regulates parliamentary procedures.

The new Peruvian Nationality Law, Ley No. 32421, was published in Peru's official newspaper El Peruano on August 15, 2025. It repeals the old Peruvian Nationality law, Ley No. 26574, in effect since 1997, and updates the procedures for obtaining, retaining, renouncing, and recovering Peruvian nationality,

The purpose of this Law is to regulate the legal, political and social ties concerning Peruvian nationality, in accordance with the precepts of the Political Constitution.

The TUPA, short for Texto Único de Procedimientos Administrativos, is an official document issued by Peru’s Superintendencia Nacional de Migraciones. It lists all administrative procedures managed by Migraciones, from visa applications and immigration status changes to card replacements, certificates, and permits.

This Legislative Decree changes some articles of the Decreto Legislativo 1350, which regulates the entry and exit of Peruvian territory of nationals and foreigners, the permanence and residence of foreigners in the country and generally the migratory administrative procedures.

The Peruvian Supreme Decree No. 002-2021-IN, published in March 2021, modifies the Peruvian Foreigner Law (Legislative Decree 1350 from 2017), the Peruvian Legislative Decree of Migrations and the Peruvian Regulation of Law No. 26574 as well as the Nationality Law.
