I have a Peruvian drivers license already but I’m considering buying a motorcycle. Do you know what I would need to do to get a motorcycle license? Thanks in advance for any insights!
- This commment is unpublished.@Jonathan KiehleHello Jonathan,Assuming you want to drive a standard motorcycle you must apply for the Licencia B-IIb.The process is the same as the one described in the article above for cars. So, you must pass the medical exam, a written exam and a driving exam.GreetingsEva

If you’re planning to get a motorcycle license in Peru, you’ll need to apply for and pass the test for Category B, most commonly B-IIb.
Some questions are the same across all license categories, while others are specific to the category you’re applying for. Normally, you can find the full set of questions for each category on the MTC website under Evaluación de conocimientos. However, as I just checked, the site unfortunately doesn’t seem to be loading (again).Since the MTC website is currently down, I’ve attached a PDF with all questions for Category B-IIb. Please note that this document was published back in 2022, so I can’t guarantee that all questions are still fully up to date.As soon as the website is up again, I will check if there have been any changes and attach the current questions in the article above as well.GreetingsEvaFiles attached:
