After two years of forced Covid pause, the Lima International Book Fair (Feria Internacional del Libro de Lima - FIL LIMA) is finally back in its 26th edition this July and August 2022 with Portugal as the invited country of honor.

Considered the largest and most prestigious publishing and cultural event in Peru, the Lima International Book Fair is organized by the Peruvian Chamber of the Publishing Industry (Cámara Peruana del Libro) and brings together national and international authors and publishers, publishing universities, ministries and other companies, booksellers, and readers to promote and celebrate books and reading.

Next to seemingly endless book choices in literally every genre, the 17-day fair is packed with an astonishing cultural program, including book presentations and readings, workshops, lectures and conferences, roundtables, concerts, theater performances, film screenings, performing arts presentations and lots of entertainment for kids.
