The “Ruraq Maki, hecho a mano” art & crafts fair, one of the most popular and largest (sales) exhibitions of original handmade Peruvian handicrafts and craftsmanship in Lima, is back in the Peruvian capital this July for a special Fiestas Patrias edition.
The fair showcases handmade, indigenous, and native handicrafts and artworks from 120 craftsmen from all over Peru.
Products on sale include typical, but traditional handicrafts and artwork including basketry, carved wooden and stone pieces, textiles, ceramics, silverware, paintings, decorations, and many other beautiful items.
The Ruraq Maki, hecho a mano fair allows local artists and craftsmen to preserve and promote their cultural heritage and traditional art and bring their original handmade works to a larger audience while at the same time generate some much-needed income.
And in case you can’t make it to the fair, check out the Ruraq Maki website.
