Museos Abiertos (Open Museums), an initiative of the Peruvian Ministry of Culture that allows Peruvians and foreign residents to visit more than 50 public museum, archaeological sites and historical places throughout the country free of charge each first Sunday of the month, continues in 2020.
On the Museos Abiertos Sunday many of the participating museums additionally offer a series of activities including (educational) workshops, special exhibitions, hands-on crafting for young and old, shows and much more.
To benefit from the offer, please bring your DNI or Carné de Extranjería.
The video below shows all participating museums and archaeological sites.
