For the first time the Gran Circo de China, a troupe consisting of 50 extraordinary artists belonging to the famous National Acrobats and Circus of the People's Republic of China, perform in Peru at the end of July and in August 2019.

Founded in 1953 the troupe is one of the longest running and most distinguished circus troupes in China and became famous in China and around the world (they performed already in more than 80 countries) for the unique acts in their program including the Girls’ Balance With Bowls, the Straw Hats Juggling, the Grand Flying Trapeze, the Great Teeterboard, the Group Contortion, and many other outstanding performances. So, no wonder that the Company won numerous awards at the great international circus festivals including the Monte Carlo International Circus Festival, the Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain, the Wuqiao International Circus Festival and the Wuhan International Circus Festival.

For the debut in Lima, the Grand Circus of China presents an outstanding show fusing astounding traditional acrobatics in colorful costumes and elaborate make-up with dance, Chinese theater and the latest in sound and lighting technology.
