San Luis is a small district close to Lima's city center. It's mostly a middle class residential area, but home to a growing number of smaller companies.

In San Luis you find the Villa Deportiva Nacional (VIDENA), a huge area which is dedicated to sports. It houses the Peruvian Institute of Sports, the head office of the Peruvian Olympic Committee, the Peruvian Federation of Soccer and a wide variety of facilities for a great number of different sports.

If you are the type of person who likes shopping on a market, the fruits market in San Luis is a must. Here dozens of merchants offer one of the best selections of fresh fruits and veggies in Lima. When visiting this area, please take the usual safety precautions!

Welcoming and supportive district! (Official slogan of the Municipality San Luis)
