The Ministry of Production is an institution of the Peruvian Government in charge of formulating, approving, executing, and supervising all levels of production, industry, manufacturing, and fishing in Peru.

Its mission is to promote the development in the productive sector, foster innovation, quality and environmental sustainability and contribute to the competitiveness of this sector.

The ministry is involved in the National Fund for Fisheries Development (FONDEPES), the Institute of the Sea of ​​Peru (IMARPE), the Fisheries Health Agency (SANIPES), the Technological Institute of Production (ITP), the National Institute of Quality (INACAL), the National Program To Eat Fish, the Innovate Peru Program, the Innovation Program in Fisheries and Aquaculture, the Productive Diversification Program, the Your Company Program and numerous other commissions, initiatives and projects.
