Founded 1994 in equals parts with World Bank grants and financial donations of local companies, the Peruvian Institute of Economy (IPE) is a non-profit organization promoting and defending a balanced and sustained development of Peru through the improvement of the market economy.

IPE actively participates in the discussion of public policies with the purpose of advancing the economic development of the country and strenghtening a free market in the democracy.
