Cultural Centers

Lima has an amazing and rich historical and cultural past. For hundreds of years the city has been a melting pot for different cultures and ethnic groups. The legacy of ancient cultures combined with the traditions and customs of immigrants, especially from Europe, Asia and migrants from the Andes and jungle make Lima a unique and diverse city. It reflects this phenomenon in Lima's rich cultural scene. Next to ancient constructions, churches, museums, theaters and cinemas you find an uncountable selection of cultural centers.

The cultural centers in Lima are dedicated to promote foreign and Peruvian culture, offering for example language classes or arts seminars, showing theater plays, organizing music and folklore events or have amazing galleries and libraries.
