The French Cultural Center in Lima, the Alianza Francesa, is a non-profit educational institution dedicated to teach the French language and to spread the French culture abroad. Next to a huge educational offer, the center provides numerous Peruvian and French cultural activities.

It has a theater, regular expositions and a cineclub; their library and galleries are really worth a visit.

The main branch of the Alianza Francesa is in Miraflores, others can be found in the city center, La Molina, Jesus Maria and Los Olivos.
