The Expo Orquídeas (Orchids Exhibition) is back in Lima where Peruvian orchid breeders and growers display and sell different orchid varieties during the 4-day event.
Orchids are the largest and most diverse plant family on Earth, consisting of about 30,000 known varieties; about 10% of those call Peru home. Admired for centuries for their graceful elegance and beauty, the plants are a symbol for luxury and love.
The Expo Orquídeas 2018 in Lima aims at showcasing the orchid diversity in Peru and promoting their cultivation and conservation. Next to the orchid exhibition and sale, different cultivation workshops for beginners and advanced are offered.
