The Alexander von Humboldt School is an official German school abroad (Deutsche Auslandsschule) in Lima open to all nationalities. The school follows the German and Peruvian curriculum offering all grades from Kindergarten up to the Peruvian and German diploma.

The Alexander von Humboldt school as well houses a vocational college (Berufsbildungszentrum BBZ) where students, which finished the 11th grade, can complete an apprenticeship at a company while at the same time studying to receive a technical baccalaureate after German standards. The total number of students is about 1,700 with 4% being German, 20% half German, 60% Peruvian and the rest other nationalities.
