We love to share with you our videos, including one of our priced possessions, a collection of old Peru documentaries dating between 1936 and 1949, to clips of some of the amazing travel destinations in the country and selected full length documentaries.

When the untouched burial chamber of “El Señor de Sipan” (the Lord of Sipan) was discovered by a small group of Peruvian archaeologists led by Dr. Walter Alva in 1987 in the Huaca Rajeda, near Sipán in northern Peru, it was a sensation, an incredible archaeological discovery often compared to the one of Tutankhamun’s tomb in Egypt.
Because of its three main geographical zones - the coast, the Andean highlands and the Amazon rainforest -, the Pacific Ocean right at the front door and a large variety of climates and micro-climates, including 28 of the 32 world climates, Peru is one of the most bio-diverse country’s in the world.
Often just stagily named “Cocaine Valley”, the Peruvian VRAEM region, the valley of the three rivers Apurimac, Ene and Mantaro, is stigmatized as an anarchic area in Peru controlled by ruthless narco-terrorists.
Just at the beginning of November 2017 a different and interesting documentary, “Peru – the Hidden Treasure” (Peru – Tesoro Escondido) premiered in Peruvian cinemas. It has been available for the international audience on Netflix. Worth to watch.

Don’t Drive Here was a reality television series with 2 seasons and 12 episodes. It aired on Discovery Channel Canada and was hosted by Andrew Younghusband. The series was a follow-up to Canada’s Worst Driver. In August 2015, it was announced that they had not renewed the show for a third season.
We managed to get our hands on a few beautiful rare documentaries and amateur films about Peru, its people, key cities, selected sites of archaeological importance and customs.
