It is the object of the law to promote the appropriate, timely and effective exercise of government control, to prevent and verify, through the application of principles, systems and technical procedures, the correct, efficient and transparent use and management of State resources and assets, the honest development of the functions and actions of the authorities, officials and public servants, as well as fulfillment of goals and results obtained by the institutions, in order to contribute and guide the improvement of their activities and services in benefit of the Nation.
