The Italian Art Museum was donated in 1921 to Peru for its centenary of independence by the Italian residents. Located in a beautiful building designed by the Milanese architect Gaetano Moretti, the museum exhibits magnificent examples of Italian Art from the 20th century. The collection includes sculptures, paintings, engravings, drawings and ceramics from 125 artists.

Among them are Libero Andreotti, Giorgio Belloni, Italico Brass, Felice Carena, Beppe and Emma Ciardi, Adolfo de Carolis, Oscar Ghiglia, Emilio Gola, Guiseppe Graziosi and Vincenzo Irolli.
