ASPEC, the Peruvian Consumer and User Association, is a non-governmental, non-profit organisation established to promote and defend the rights of consumers in Peru.
Main activities include:
- to inform and educate consumers about their rights
- to denounce abuses in the marketplace and take legal action whenever required
- to raise awareness on a wide range of topics such as food, labeling, false advertising and public utilities.
