The beaches of the coast of the Republic are property of public use, inalienable and imprescriptible. A beach is understood as the area where the coast is presented as an open flat with a gentle slope towards the sea and formed of sand or stone, pebbles or sand mixed with mud plus a strip not less than 50 meters wide parallel to the high line tide.

This Emergency Decree establishes measures to promote a mechanism aimed at the renewal or definitive withdrawal of vehicles from the automotive fleet, in order to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases and local pollutants that affect the public health, as well as, contribute to reducing accidents on public roads and safeguarding road safety.
