Opened in July 2012 the Grand National Theater, the Gran Teatro Nacional del Peru, is the newest and most modern addition to Lima's cultural scene. The multi-purpose theatre and concert hall is equipped with the latest technology in acoustics as well as sound and theatrical engineering making a visit to one of the performance ranging from operas, concerts, ballets, Broadway shows and more a first class experience.

With its glass and steel façade the outside of the Gran Teatro Nacional shows a contemporary design, while the inside takes up the architectural style and traditions of historic theaters and incorporate them into the modernity.

With almost 1,500 seats, the Grand National Theater is Peru's biggest performing arts center providing space not only for opera, dance and theatrical productions and philharmonic orchestra concerts, but as well for other artistic and cultural activities, meetings and exhibitions. The Gran Teatro Nacional del Peru is also the new home of the country's National Symphony Orchestra, the National Youth Symphony Orchestra, the National Ballet, the National Chorus, the National Children's Chorus and the National Folkloric Ensemble.

Unfortunately the Gran Teatro hasn't got a webpage, but you can find them on Facebook. And just today I received their program for July 2013. So in the next few days, our page will be updated again.

The Gran Teatro still hasn't got a website and even though we are registered with them to receive their program, for the past 2 months we haven't. So after reading your comment we tried to get one into our fingers. And have a look above, there it is! It's for October, November and December, but as I learned was only published last week. The schedule for January isn't ready yet. As soon it's available, we will publish it.

You are absolutely right; it’s a shame that they don’t have a website! That’s the reason we publish the program on LimaEasy, but it’s also always a struggle to get it from them…

That you can’t see the program is weird as I tried it from our side in different browsers (IE, Firefox, Chrome) and it loaded fine – 100%. I sent you the program as PDF to your email.
