Date: Friday, 18 October 2019 20:00

Sexteto Mayor, the most famous and successful Argentine tango ensemble, is coming to Peru for the first time presenting in Lima their show “Milongueando”, a compilation of the greatest tango hits featuring musicians, dancers and singers.

Founded already in 1973 by Luis Stazo and José Libertella, Sexteto Mayor performed around the globe and are known for their annual tours. Over the years they received countless awards including the Latin Grammy in 2003 as first Argentine tango group.

Even though some unique musical approaches and modern influences are reflected in their arrangements, Sexteto Mayor remains rooted in the traditional sounds of Argentinean music.

A must see for all tango lovers.
