If something should happen that needs emergency medical attention, you can choose one of the listed Rescue Services. In case of an accident the fire brigade (Bomberos) can respond with very well equipped units and provide good first aid. We had a good look at their vehicles and the equipment is up to a really good international standard. It is quite amazing to see how they manage to juggle through the chaotic traffic of Lima.
Lima traffic reminds us more of a stockcar race and to get through it you need elbows and a loud horn. So believe us most ambulances HAVE quite noisy sirens… Fire Brigade / Bomberos
