Jockey Plaza in Surco, Lima

Jockey Plaza

Shopping Center

Address
Av. Javier Prado Este 4200
District
  • Santiago de Surco
City (Peru)
Lima

When it comes to shopping malls, Jockey Plaza is one of Lima's showpieces. Opened in April 1997 Jockey Plaza offers high-end facilities for well-funded shoppers in a western style environment. Next to a big supermarket, a home center and two department stores, you find over 230 shops and boutiques offering everything from clothes and shoes to sports gear and jewelry to all kinds of accessories and animal supplies.

There is also a big food parlor, home to numerous fast-food chains and many small coffee shops. A big cinema, arcade games for the kids and a bowling center can be found as well; and don't miss Divercity, a theme park for kids. Additionally Jockey Plaza has a big conventional center where regularly exhibitions, trade fairs and shows take place.

In November 2010 the Boulevard Jockey Plaza was inaugurated - a hypermodern place for luxurious shops including brands like Carolina Herrera, Armani, Montblanc, Bose, Guess, Calvin Klein, Hugo Boss, Billabong, Esprit and many more. With this and further planned additions to the commercial center (like the building of a huge financial center) Jockey Plaza once again gains an edge over the competitors.
