Hogar San Francisco de Asis - Villa la Paz Foundation

The Center for destitute and sick children "Hogar San Francisco de Asis" was founded over 25 years ago by the pediatrician Dr. Anthony Lazzara. Parents of sick and general unhealthy children who can't afford to pay the necessary medications, hospital fees and medical treatment bring their children to the "Hogar San Francisco de Asis". Here the children receive all they need to recover and get better free of charge (drugs, therapies, operations, food and a caring staff).

The most common medical conditions at "Hogar San Francisco de Asis" are diseases related to poverty like malnutrition, chronic diarrhea, tuberculosis, parasite infestation and chronic respiratory diseases. The center as well treats and cares for children with (congenital) malformation, chronic diseases, cancer and handicaps.

Hogar San Francisco de Asis depends entirely on donations. To collect funds for the outstanding work of the Center for destitute and sick children the Villa La Paz foundation was created. Every Dollar of your donation send to the Foundation Villa La Paz is used for medical care and food for the children. No donation money is used on the administration or other expenses.
