The ‘Casa de las Trece Monedas’ (‘House of the Thirteen Coins’ named after the thirteen coins in the coat of arms of the family) housed for a long time a restaurant with the same name. Today you find here the Museo Nacional Afroperuano. The museum explains the history of Afro-Americans in Peru and the contribution their culture made to the country.
