The building that houses today the Postal and Philatelic Museum fulfilled since its foundation in 1897 an imported part in the evolution of communications in Peru. In the beginning of the 20th century the first telephone switchboard in Peru was installed. The beautiful building (one of the oldest post offices in Latin-America) is the perfect scenario for the Postal and Philatelic Museum.
