Lima Walks

Discover the architectural and historical richness of Lima with Dutch editor Ronald Elward, who has developed several walks in various parts of the Peruvian capital. Lima Walks was launched with the intent to show visitors and locals Lima's numerous well hidden secrets. And the best way of discovering the often unseen beauty of the fascinating capital of Peru is by walking.

Lima Walks offers guided walks for groups of up to 12 people. The guided walks can be done in English, German, Spanish or Dutch. All walks are carefully researched in order to give a good idea of the architecture and history of the various parts of Lima and designed to be pleasurable as a walk. The walks don't include visits to museums, but visits to places that are in general open to the public and in several tours exclusive visits to places not open to the public.

Tours include traditional destinations like Lima's center, Miraflores, Barranco and San Isidro, but also lesser know districts like Barrios Altos, Rimac, Pubelo Libre, Magdalena del Mar, Surquillo, Lince, San Miguel, Los Olivos and Callao. You can either book a Lima Walk on any day of the week or sign up for pre-scheduled walks organized each Sunday.
