The first stop is the Archaeological Complex of Pachacamac, an impressive pre-Inca Ceremonial Center overlooking the Pacific Ocean. On your way back to Lima you drive through the unique wetlands Pantanos de Villa, a protected natural reserve with an extraordinary biodiversity and a great place for bird lovers. Driving along the coastline of Chorrillos you soon reach the traditional and picturesque district of Barranco. Here you stop at a restaurant where the barman shows you how he prepares Peru's national drink, the Pisco sour. After lunch you walk through Barranco to an antique tavern which became a prestigious winery and Pisco producer. Next stop is Lima's historical city center. City Tour "Historical Buildings"![]() Experience the magnificence of Lima's Colonial and Republican times. After being picked up from your hotel, your first stop is the famous luxury hotel Gran Hotel Bolivar located at Plaza San Martin in the historical city center which opened its doors in 1924 to accommodate numerous celebrities. While having a drink at the bar you can enjoy the impressive architecture and classy interior of Lima's first large and modern hotel. From here you walk the short distance to the Casa Osambela, one of the most traditional buildings that combines the cultural and historical patrimony of Lima. Your next stop is Casa Aliaga which was built by Jeronimo de Aliaga, a companion of Lima's conqueror Francisco Pizarro, and in which still direct descendents of the Aliaga family live in.
