How can I Support LimaEasy?
If you find LimaEasy useful or used information from it, you might like to consider making a donation. Running this site costs a significant amount of money for hosting, traffic & licenses. As LimaEasy is not a big corporation every single cent comes out of our own pocket!
So, each donation - even when it is a small amount - helps us to keep this site running, up to date, further improve it and continue adding new information. Remember that the LimaEasy Project is for the most part only created and managed by a couple of dedicated people.
Thank you very much!

Tours, Booking & Reservations
Frequently we are getting inquiries about bookings and reservations for City Tours, but LimaEasy itself does not offer these services. We publish the information for various providers on "The Lima Guide" (Citytours & Sightseeing in Lima Listing) to give you a good selection.
For any specific questions about the services offered, please get in touch with them directly using their contact details that can be found under "General Info" on the detail page of each described tour operator.
We as LimaEasy do not represent any Museum or Art Collection as we focus on providing their general visitors information on "The Lima Guide" to give you a good choice for your visit.
We have a great section for "Museums in Lima". There's an incredible number of museums spread around the city displaying the richness and diverse facets of Lima's and Peru's culture.
If you like to organize a visit or find out more about their collections, please get in touch with them directly. We post their contact details under "General Info" on each Museums detail page.
The current currency of Peru (The Nuevo Sol) has been in circulation since 1991. Any old Peruvian banknotes issued before, like Sol de Oro or Inti are no legal tender anymore! You can't exchange them anywhere!
While the one or other bill might have a value for a collector if in impeccable condition, they are except for their sentimental value unfortunately worthless!
Visa & Visa Requirements
Check out the following PDF document to find out if you have to apply for a tourist visa at a Peruvian consulate before entering the country.
Please note that it is your nationality and not a potential residence permit in another country that is the deciding factor if you need a visa or not!
In case there is no Peruvian Diplomatic Mission in your country of residence, the Peruvian Foreign Affairs Ministry advices nationals of countries who have to apply for a visa to get in contact with a Peruvian Embassy or Consulate in a state nearest to your home country.
We as LimaEasy do not provide any volunteering opportunities as we focus on providing information on "The Lima Guide".
Nevertheless we have a great listing of Social Projects & Volunteering Opportunities. There are some great projects (see the listing here) with highly dedicated people behind them and if you like to find out more, please get in touch with them directly. We post their contact details under "General Info" on each project page.
