Public Transport:
No proper system of public transport. The Lima ‘Metro’ called ‘Tren Urbano’ (above ground electric mass transit system) still only covers 10 km and has 7 stations (after over 30 years of planning and construction), expansion hopefully soon! The main public transport is organised with over 70,000 poor maintained small busses called 'mircros', 'combis' or 'collectivos' and an estimate of 200,000 taxis (licensed & unlicensed).
