We really don't like the word "Blog" but we have to admit that the Editors Corner is the LimaEasy Blog. Things change, new content gets published, an article doesn't seem to fit into any of our categories or we as the editors of LimaEasy would like to air our opinions (and you are welcome to comment on them) - This is the place you'll find all that...

Powdery Cookies filled with Manjar Blanco
Alfajores are surely one of the most popular cookies in Peru. The sweet sensation of two fine, almost powdery cookies nicely filled with just the right amount of creamy Manjar Blanco (Dulce de Leche) melting in the mouth is just absolutely delicious and addicting.
Preparing this typical Peruvian goodie is really easy, at least if you have the right recipe for Peruvian Alfajores; yes, it might be time-consuming, but worth every single minute. The taste of homemade Alfajores is just incredible. And while using a good Manjar Blanco can make the difference I added a recipe for Peru's Dulce de Leche as well which of course can be used for many other Peruvian sweet treats like my favorite Pionono.
