LimaEasy's Editors Corner

We really don't like the word "Blog" but we have to admit that the Editors Corner is the LimaEasy Blog. Things change, new content gets published, an article doesn't seem to fit into any of our categories or we as the editors of LimaEasy would like to air our opinions (and you are welcome to comment on them) - This is the place you'll find all that...

Enjoy tradtional music from the Andean regions of Peru

Since 2006 Peru celebrates the Día de la Canción Andina (the Day of the Andean Song or probably better the Day of Andean Music) each year on the 15th of June.

To mark this day the municipality of Lima organizes a big concert with musicians from the different Andean regions of Peru. Participating are Los Príncipes del Perú, La Princesita de Yungay, Conjunto Condemayta de Acomayo, William Luna, Dina Páucar, Amanda Portales and Rosita de Espinar. Additionally a photo exhibition with Andean music as theme takes place.

The concerts is on June 14th at the Plaza de Armas in Lima's historic city center at 05.00 pm; the admission is free.
